Education, health and social welfare since 1988
Our services
Since 1988, the Haideria Trust has offered services in education, health and social welfare, and more recently crisis management in response to earthquakes, floods and acts of terrorism. All services are offered purely on humanitarian grounds, without discrimination of caste or creed.

Social Welfare Services
Under the banner of Shoba-e-Khidmat-e-Khalq, we regularly provide:
- Dowry assistance with essential household items for needy families
- Free ration packages for 250 families before Ramadan every year
- Fee remission, free uniforms and books for deserving students
- Free or subsidised computer courses for deserving students
- Free medical camps and medicines, and help with surgery costs and artificial limbs
- Financial help for people affected by disasters

Crisis Management
The 2005 earthquake and the acts of terrorism that followed led us to set up a crisis management cell. It holds equipment such as generators, emergency lights, stretchers, wheelchairs and coffins, and trustees are authorised to spend emergency funds to help people in hospital, especially with medicines and surgical supplies.

Abu Talib Model School
The school educates children whose families cannot afford it. It currently runs from prep to grade 8, with plans to extend to grade 10. Qualified teachers teach both girls and boys, and receive regular training. Deserving students receive fee remission, free books and uniforms.

Computer Learning Institute
The institute offers subsidised computer courses to help people find work and become computer literate. Summer classes keep children busy with healthy activities, and our school’s students use the lab too. Typing and coaching classes also run throughout the year.
Your support keeps a child in school
Every contribution goes to fee remission, books, uniforms, food and emergency relief for families in Peshawar.
