Haideria Trust, Peshawar
About us
Our story
The idea behind Haideria Trust came from a group of learned, kind-hearted people who wanted to guide and train young people seeking work after completing their studies. They set up a forum, the “Study Centre”, and began with typing and shorthand courses — a valuable extra qualification for job seekers at the time.
Over time, a regular school was established, and further courses and coaching classes were added. In 1986, an organisation named “Haideria Idarae Hilmo Hunar” was formed to run these activities in an organised way.
This led to the formation of Haideria Trust, registered with the Registrar of Societies and Firms, NWFP, in 1988, with a comprehensive constitution and procedures so the Trust could be run on modern, transparent lines.
